BIOGRAPHY

Bernd Wunder is a researcher and group leader at the Institute for Integrated Systems and Device Technology, where he founded the DC microgrids group in 2013. His work focuses on designing next-generation infrastructure to support regenerative and sustainable energy use through direct current systems.

Bernd also represents Germany in the IEC SyC LVDC committee and leads the IEC 63317 project on DC-industry applications. His contributions support international standards and innovation in power electronics and energy system transformation.
