BIOGRAPHY

Jan Hanssen is the Co-Founder and a Board Member at EnerOcean, with a technical background spanning offshore energy, floating wind, and the clean energy transition. His involvement in floating wind dates to 2008, following 16 years in offshore oil and gas.

Jan has initiated and co-managed EU-funded projects in offshore wind and other renewable energy sources. His work spans policy, strategy, and market aspects of the energy transition, with a current focus on the W2Power solution, advancing floating wind as a cost-competitive pathway to offshore renewable commercialisation.
